Hey everyone.
Wow, I haven't updated in well over a month now. I just thought I should fill everyone in on what's been going on lately.
First of all, we have a new holiday themed layout up! If you don't already see it, take a look at the left bar and click on "Default". You may notice the new "login" box - this is tied with your Cloud Nine account, so you can login with your details from the forums, and have access to a few member-exclusive features, such as the Sprite Gallery and the Mystery Picture.
I'm actually working on a project based on the holidays - it's secret, so shhh! - which I'd like to get up by the 23rd.
I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays, and of course, winter break!

A few minutes ago, I got to upload a new video I created based off our Shiny Pokemon Guide on Youtube.
The video can be found here, along with our ugly, blank channel, which you can subscribe to, if you like, if you're interested in more Shiny Sunset videos.
I'd like to apologize for the quality of the text, and also how it randomly pauses at places, which I set it to do so it would have more of a duration.

Hey everyone!
Earlier today, I looked over the anime section of our site, and it hit me - we only have two active pages of anime content (on this portion of the site, that is). To make up for this lack of anime appreciation, I decided to design an "Anime Image Gallery", where users can upload pictures and images from their favorite animes and add it to the gallery. I've gotten started on the basic planning of it, and I have yet to begin any of the coding, so do feel free to comment with any suggestions for this new feature.
Before I log off, I'd like to welcome back our dearest webmistress, Fox, from her three-day stay in the hospital! We all hope you're feeling better!

My apologies for not holding the Halloween contest; it was much to late to begin, considering none of the coding/necessary artwork had been developed prior to the 31st. However, as some of you might have spotted on the forums, there is now a random contest taking place, which goes by the name of Outfitting Extravaganza (thought up by Frost)! Read the description for the Halloween contest to learn more about this one, as it's basically the same thing, but instead of a costume making contest, it's a dress-up contest. Additionally, I'd like to welcome our new staff members; Twilla, who will be our epic game guide manager, and Frost, who will be one of our artists. Welcome to the team, guys. (:
Currently, I'm drinking a nice, steaming cup of hot chocolate, which always gets my thoughts flowing, so I plan to make some DIV templates or Pokemon renders.

I would like to graciously announce the release of Shiny Sunset's Halloween Costume Contest! What it will be is, basically, members "dress up" an outline of a Pokemon/other (it is still being planned). You don't have to be a great artist - you could be the worst, and you still might place - but creativity and effort matters! I am still working on the coding for submitting entries, and our amazing artist, Choco, will be working on the outline (thanks Choco), so until then, au revior! (I had French today)

If you've looked around the site, you'll see there are several minor/major changes. For one thing, if you've been to the splash page (or just looked at the links under "Main"), you've most likely seen, "Forums", "Oekaki", and, "The Orphanage". The forums, for now, have been merged with Aster Lake, a Harvest Moon community. However, I am working on the new forums, which, in fact, you can see once you register/login (which is another new feature; you can do this by looking above that Shaymin in the left navigation bar). read more...
